One of the young and brilliant talents at Waterstone Salon, Olivia brings her own fresh perspective to hair, style, and fashion. Focusing on creating the perfect cut, she comes to know her clients through a complete consultation. Her protocol includes not only a professional analysis but also a thoughtful assessment of each person’s preferences and personal style.
“Personal style is not about adopting every beauty trend that comes along,” says Olivia. “My clients are people who share their energy with others, who have dreams and responsibilities, and who have a desire to reveal their own unique beauty.”
It all starts, of course, with the right cut. And that’s where Olivia excels. Long before graduating from Avenue Five she was studying style, proportion and technique through sketching and designing. Kinetically, she discovered, “there are rules—even when it comes to art—and applying those rules with imagination and flair helps me to create the style each person will feel most happy with.”
“My goal is to help you discover your best self."

" I became an educator and worked with Vidal-Sassoon, Aveda, and Bumble and Bumble. Through sharing I realized that I could help others create the foundation for consistent highest-level results and a better future. I also discovered the privilege that drives the most passionate educators: we gain knowledge as students and develop expertise as teachers.
My artistic canvas is a person--I am conscious of the privilege we are given as stylists. We have the opportunity to change someone’s day, or even change the trajectory of an entire year. The power to impact how someone feels about themselves and how others perceive them raises the stakes and also the reward. I co-create a clear outcome with every client, and once it is understood, I create my art. Even when a client’s view and mine are not fully aligned, I find fulfillment in playing within their boundaries while executing at the highest level and working in my distinctive style. It is through this process that I have built a passionate following of long-term clients. My peers tell me they can recognize one of my clients from across a room because their look is finished, complete, and it fits.
The next stage of my career will find me making a higher level of contribution to others and to myself. Creating a new and better future through educating and sharing what I have been so fortunate to learn with others and then seeing the art and affect multiply is incredibly motivating. I want to share with others the opportunity we have earned, the impact we have on the lives of the people we touch, and the empathy and skill that when combined leave a lasting, if not indelible, impression.
I'm ready, are you?"

Leah started off her hair career by training at one of the industry’s most prestigious academies of hair in Santa Monica, CA. She then moved to Austin, TX and was quickly hired by one of Austin’s top salons, where she was employed for ten years. She eventually opened her own hair studio, Lotus Blue, on the famous “Drag” in Austin, across from The University of Texas. Leah was forced to close the doors of her hair salon when she was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive type of breast cancer. Being healthy and taking care of herself was a priority. Leah is now in complete remission, back to living her life to the fullest, doing what she loves to do, and feeling like she has been gifted a new lease on life. She believes that her experiences have further enforced what she already believed–life is truly a gift, and you should not waste it. Surrounding yourself with people you love, doing good, standing up for what you believe in, and doing what you love is Leah’s mission in life. Living that philosophy finally brought Leah to join our team here at Waterstone, where she is reunited with friends and stylists that she loves, and with whom she started her career off with. Leah’s excitement and joy for life and cutting hair is what makes her such a perfect fit!
